One of the most important advantages of the OSSD is that it offers <strong>a continuous assessment and project-based learning model<\/strong>, unlike traditional exam-oriented systems. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Grading System at OSSD<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>In the OSSD program, students&#8217; academic performance is assessed through <strong>grades, projects and exams taken throughout the year<\/strong>. Unlike traditional education systems, <strong>there is no reliance on a single exam result<\/strong> and students&#8217; <strong>progress throughout the year<\/strong> is taken into account. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How is OSSD Grade Distribution Done?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Students&#8217; success <strong>is evaluated out of 100 points<\/strong> and grading is done as follows:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>70% In-Year Evaluation:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In-class participation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assignments and projects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Practical exams and tests<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Group work<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>30% End of Term Evaluation:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Final projects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Performance-based evaluations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Examination<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>This system <strong>allows students to better express themselves and improve their academic achievement throughout the year, without relying on a single exam grade<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Project-Based Learning Model at OSSD<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>While success in traditional education systems is mostly based on memorization and exam results, <strong>OSSD students are assessed through a project-based learning model<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What is Project Based Learning?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Project-based learning enables students <strong>to gain knowledge and develop problem-solving skills through real-life scenarios<\/strong>.
